NExT Region Shirts and Pins

Team members and Team Managers must have the regional "Wild About DI" shirt for the affiliate tournament.

Teams must wear the NExT Region shirts at the Affiliate Closing Ceremony. Teams and Team Managers from NExT Region will all sit together. Other supporters will sit in a separate area. Doors open at 7pm, Closing Ceremony starts at 8pm.

Order your NExT Region shirts and pins here.

The shirt cost is $20.

Pins are optional and are now offered at (a discounted) $3 each.

Order deadline is Thursday, February 22nd. Place ONE order as a team. When these orders are ready you'll be contacted about a day and time for pick up.

More about Pins

Trying to decide how many NExT Region pins to buy? Things to consider when deciding to trade pins:

  • Teams usually purchase NExT Region pins to trade. Pins are now discounted.

  • Some teams design their own pins and have them manufactured. Some participants trade vintage pins or handmade pins.

  • Some participants trade pins that are not DI related. (We discourage this with NExT Region teams.)

  • There are 16 other regions in Texas. Do you want to collect a pin from every Region?

  • Do you want to take a few pins and just re-trade them during the Mixer?

  • Do you want to buy as many pins as you can afford and do lots of trading?

  • Do you want to buy any to keep for yourself?

"Going to State" Bags

Prior to the Affiliate Tournament, each Team Manager will be contacted to pick up any Regional shirts and pins they've ordered, their wristbands (described below), and pin towels (described below).

Wristbands

Teams received nine free wristbands from NExT Region in the envelope that they picked up after the Regional Award Ceremony on February 16th. These nine wristbands are for team members and their team managers (2 max). Bonus teams will receive these nine wristbands prior to the Affiliate Tournament.

All other supporters, chaperones, spectators will be asked to purchase their wristbands when they register for the Affiliate Tournament. Wristbands must be worn by everyone at all locations during the Texas Destination Imagination events to ensure safety. These are purchased through the TexasDI.

Pin Towels

These are small towels that participants use to display the pins they've collected or the pins they want to trade. Each team will receive free NExT Region pin towels for their team members.
