Award Ceremonies

When and where is the Award Ceremony?

Details will be sent out (via email) from our Tournament DIrector.

Yep. Rising Stars! information will be sent via email from the Rising Stars Challenge Masters.

Is attendance at the Award Ceremony required?

Nope, but it sure is fun!

Flu/Illness

What if one or more of the team members gets sick and can't come to the Tournament?

It's okay! All team members are not required to attend the Tournament. If a team member cannot attend, it is up to the team (not any adults) to determine how they want to handle going to the Tournament without a team member. Team Managers can present the scenario to the team and ask how they'll handle it. Team Managers cannot offer a solution. Team Managers (or other adults) cannot take on the role of the sick team member.

If a team member contributed to a challenge solution in any way, at any stage, he/she must be included on the team's Declaration of Independence (but is not required to sign it).

Instant Challenge

Do Rising Stars! teams participate in Instant Challenge?

Yep!

Who can watch the team's Instant Challenge?

Only one Team Manager is allowed to accompany the team to the Instant Challenge area on Tournament Day. (even Rising Star teams)

No. Please refer to the Rules of the Road  for an excellent description of the Instant Challenge procedures.

Paperwork

What do I put in those blanks on the Media & Medical Release form?

At the very top of both forms, there are two blanks. Please insert "NExT"

On the Media Form, write your Team Name where it asks for Membership Name.

What if all of the team members can't come to the Tournament?

All team members are not required to attend the Tournament. If a team member cannot attend, it is up to the team (not any adults) to determine how they want to handle going to the Tournament without a team member. If a team member contributed to a challenge solution in any way, at any stage, he/she must be included on the team's Declaration of Independence (but is not required to sign it).
